SIDE OF FRAME STREET FROM THE INTERSECTION OF SCEMITZ STREET TO
ITS INTERSECTION WITH WITHERS STREET, PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY
CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS,
AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
When signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person
shall park a vehicle at anytime upon the following street in the
City of Denton to-wit
The east side of Frame Street from its intersection with
Schmitz Street to its intersection with Withers Street
SECTION II
The provisions of Section I providing the parking of
vehicles shall apply at all times to the street and part of
streets designated therein except when it is necessary to stop a
vehicle to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance
with the direction of a police officer or official traffic-
control device
SECTION III
Any person adjudged guilty of parking a vehicle in violation
of this ordinance shall be guilty of a m~sdemeanor and punished
by a fine not to exceed Two Hundred Dollars ($200 00)
SECTION IV
That if any section, subsection, paragraph, sentence,
clause, phrase or word in this ordinance or application thereof
to an person or circumstances is held invalid by court of
competent jurisdiction, such holding shall not affect the
validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance, and the
City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, hereby declares it
would have enacted such remaining portions desplte any such
invalidity All ordinances ~n conflict herewith are hereby
repealed,
SECTION V.
That this ordinance shall become effective fourteen (14)
days from the date of its passage, and the City Secretary is
hereby directed to cause the caption of this ordinance to be
published twice in the Denton Record-Chronicle, the official
newspaper of the City of Denton, Texas, within ten (10) days of
the date of its passage. _ , ~

SECTION IV That all prows~ons of the ordinances of the City of Denton m conflict with
the prov~aions ofttns ordinance are hereby repealed, and all other prows~ons of the ordinances of
the C~ty of Denton, not m conflict wath the prows~ons of flus ordinance, shall remain m full force
and effect
$~ECTION V That ~fany prows~on of this ordinance or apphcatlon thereof to any person
or c~reumstance ~s held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the other provisions or
apphcataons, and to flus end the prows~ons of flus ordinance are severable
S~ECTION VI Any person adjudged guilty of parking a vehicle ~n wolat~on of flus
ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and punished by a fine not to exceed Two Hundred
Dollars ($200 00)
SECTION VII That th~s ordinance shall become effective fourteen (14) days from the
date of its passage, and the C~ty Secretary ~s hereby d~rected to cause the caption of th~s
ordinance to be pubhshed twice in the Denton Record-Chromcle, the official newspaper of the
