1982-061AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT ALL RIGHT, TITLE, AND INTEREST OF THE CITY OF DENTON IN LAND HERETOFORE DEDICATED AS A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT BE VACATED AND ABANDONED, AND PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, has been requested by the owners of adjoining property to vacate and abandon a public utility easement over a portion of the hereinafter described tract of land, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, is of opinion that the best interest and welfare of the public will be served by vacating and abandoning sa~d public utility easement over the hereinafter described tract of land, NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS SECTION I. That the right, title, and interest of the City of Denton, Texas, in and to the following described public utility easement to-w~t All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the City and County of Denton, State of Texas, being Lot No 16 of Block No 38 of Southr~dge Add~tlon, an addition to the City of Denton, Texas, according to the replat recorded in Volume 11, Page 1 of the Map Records of Denton County, Texas and al~o known as 505 Pennsylvania Street is hereby abandoned and permanently vacated as public utility easement of any kind or character forever SECTION II That the easement over that portion of said tract of land herein described is hereby abandoned and released and will revert to the adjacent owner or owners as provided by law SECTION III.
