1982-057AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 13 08, CHAPTER 13, APPENDIX
A-SUBDIVISIONS OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON,
TEXAS, 1966, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO FILING FEES TO BE PAID WHEN
FILING PRELIMINARY PLATS, FINAL PLATS AND REPLATS, PROVIDING FOR A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That Article 13 08 of Chapter 13 of Appendix A-Subdivisions of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton, Texas, 1966, as
amended, is further amended to read as follows
Article 13 08 Filing Fees
"No preliminary or final plat or replat shall be accepted
for f~l~ng for review by the planning commission unless
the person wishing to file such plat or replat first pays
to the director of planning a filing fee of Fifty-Five
Dollars {$55 00), provided, however, that in cases where a
replat ~s to be f~led and state law requires notlficat~on
of lot owners because of such proposed replat the f~lzng
fee shall be One Hundred Ten Dollars {$110 00), in
addition to a fee of Two Dollars ($2 00) per lot owner
required to be notified"
SECTION II
That ~f any section, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause,
phrase or word in this ordinance, or application thereof to any
person or circumstance is held invalid by any court of competent
]urlsdlction, such holding shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions of this ordinance, and the City Council of the
C~ty of Denton, Texas, hereby declares it would have enacted such
remaining portions despite any such inval~dity
SECTION III
That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon lts
passage and approval
