1982-022AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING CITY LOT 1, BLOCK 103, OF THE CITY OF
DENTON, DENTON COUNTY, TEXAS AS A HISTORIC LANDMARK UNDER
ORDINANCE NO 80-30 (ARTICLE 28A OF THE COMPREHENSIVF ZONING
ORDINANCE), AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the Historic Landmark Commission and the Plannlnq
and Zoning Commission of the City of Denton have recommended
that the property herein described be designated as a historic
landmark in the City of Denton, NOW, THEREFORF,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
City Lot 1 of Block 103 (Block 17 of the Original Town
Addt~on) and also known as 210 North Locust (Old Post Off~ce),
of the City of Denton, Texas is hereby designated as a historic
landmark under Ordinance No 80-30, Article 28A of the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Denton, Texas
SECTION II
The h~stor~c landmark designation shall be indicated uDon
the zoning map of the C~ty of Denton by the letter "H", and the
property herein described shall be subject to all of the terms,
provisions and requirements of Ordinance No 80-30, Article 28A
of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Denton,
Texas
SECTION III
This ordlnance shall become effective from and after its
date of passage
