AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS,
AS SAME WAS ADOPTED Ag AN APPENDIX TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 69-1, AND AS SAID MAP
APPLIES TO PART OF LOT 2, BLOCK 6 OF THE W C BAINES ADDITION TO
THE CITY OF DENTON, AND MORF PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND
DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
The Zoning Classification and Use designation of the follow~nq
described property, to-w~t
Part of Lot 2, Block 6 of the W C Barnes Addition and
also known as 323 West Mulberry Street ~n the City of
Denton, Denton County, Texas
~s hereby changed from Multi-Family "MF-i" D~str~ct Class~f~catlon
Use to Off~ce "O" D~strlct Classification and Use under the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the C~ty of Denton, Texas The
Zoning Map of the C~ty of Denton, Texas, adopted the 14th day of
January, 1969, as an Appendix to the Code of Ordinances of the
C~ty of Denton, Texas under Ordinance No 69-1, be, and the same
~s hereby amended to show such change in Dlstr~ct Classification
and Use
SECTION II
That the City Councll of the C~tv of Denton, Texas hereby
f~nds that such change ~s in accordance w~th a comprehen~lve plan
for the purpose of promotlng the general welfare of the C~ty of
Denton, Texas, and w~th reasonabl~ consideration, among other
th~ngs for the character of the d~strlct and for ~ts peculiar
sultablllty or particular uses, and with a view to conservlnq the
value of the buildings, protecting human l~ves, and encouraging
the most appropriate uses of land for the maxlmum benefit to the
City of Denton, Texas, and ~ts c~tlzens
SECTION III
That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
lmmedlately after its passage and approval, the required public
hearings having heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning
Comm~sslon and the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas,
after g~v~ng due notice thereof
