ORDINANCE DIRECTING THE ISSUANCE OF NOTICE OF SALE OF BONDS

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
1 That the City Secretary is directed to issue a Notice
of Sale of Bonds in substantially the follow!ng form

ELECTRIC SYSTEM REVENUE BONDS,

The Cxty Council of the City of Denton, Denton
County, Texas, will receive sealed bids at the
Municipal Building, 215 E McKlnney Street, in the
City of Denton until
7 00 p m , Tuesday, March 2, 1982
for the purchase of
$2,000,000 Water and Sewer System Revenue Bonds,
to be dated March 15, 1982, and to mature serially
July 15 each year 1983 through 1998
~3~000,000 Electrxc System Revenue Bonds, to be
ated April 1, 1982, and to mature serially
December 1 each year 1983 through 2000
Sealed bids, plainly marked "Bid for Bonds", should
be addressed to "Honorable Mayor and City Council,
City of Denton, Texas", and must be submItted on
the "Official Bid Form" to be made available by the
City Council prior the date of sale
Ail sealed bids will be publmcly opened and tabu-
lated before the Council
Copies of the "OffIcial Statement", "Notlce of Sale",
and "Official B~d Form" are being prepared and wmll
be mailed to prospective bidders on or about
February 15, 1982, and will be furnished to any
prospective bidder upon request, by First Southwest
Company, 900 Mercantile Bank Bulldmng, ,Dallas, Texas
75201, Financial Advisors to the City
The City reserves the right to reject any and all
bids and to waive any and all irregularities

at the Municipal Building (City Hall), and the roll was called
of the duly constituted officers and members of said City
Council, to-wit

paragraph is a true, full, and correct excerpt from said City
Council's minutes of said Meeting pertaining the passage of
said Ordinance; that the persons named in the above and fore-
going paragraph are the duly chosen, qualified, and acting

Notice as hereby gaven, an accordance wath Article 2368a,
Vernon's Annotated Texas Civil Statutes, that the City Councal
of the City of Denton, Texas, intends to pass, at a Regular
Meeting to be held at 7 00 PM, on March 2, 1982, at the City
Hall, an Ordinance authorzzang the issuance, sale and delivery
of an issue of negotaable coupon bonds to be desagnated as
"Caty of Denton Water and Sewer System Revenue Bonds, Series
1982, an the maximum principal amount of $2,000,000, to be pay-
able from and secured by a farst laen on and pledge of the Net
Revenues of the City's Waterworks and Sewer System, all as w~!l
be defaned and provided in the aforesaad Ordinance Saad bonds
will bear interest from thear date at maxamum rates not to
exceed fifteen percentum per annum, wall be scheduled to mature
seraally within a maximum of not to exceed thirty years from
thear date, and wall be subject to redemptaon praor to
matur=ty, and will have such other and further characteristacs,
as will be provided in the aforesaad Ordinance Saad bonds

Vernon's Annotated Texes Cavil Statutes, that the City Councal
of the City of Denton, Texas, intends to pass, at a Regular
Meeting to be held at 7 00 PM, on March 2, 1982, at the City
Hall, an Ordinance authorizing the issuance, sale, and delivery

"City of Denton Electric System Revenue Bonds, Series 1982", in
