AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE, APPENDIX B, ARTICLE
12A OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY
ADDING SUBSECTION {59 1) DEFINING PORTABLE ADVERTISING SIGNS
AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That Appendix B, Article 12A of the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Denton, Texas is hereby amended by adding a new
subsection to be numbered [SO 1), which said section shall read
as follows
APPENDIX B, ARTICLE 12A
(59 1) S~gn~ Advert~s~ng~ Portable A sign which ~s not
permanently attached to the ground, a structure, or another
sign, is designed to permit removal from one location to
another for reuse, and does not principally refer to the sale,
lease, or rental of the real property upon whtch such s~gn ts
situated
SECTION II
Th~s ordinance shall become effecttve from and after ~ts
date of passage and approval
