1981-071AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 25-6 l(b) OF CHAPTER 25, CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, PERTAINING TO AVERAGE
BILLINGS FOR SERVICES, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
Section 25-6 l(b) of the Code of Ordinances of the C~ty of
Denton, Texas, xs hereby amended so that the same shall
hereafter read as follows
"Sec 25-6 l(b) Upon receipt of such application, the
City wxll compute the total consumption of the
customer for water and electricity for the prior
twelve {12) months D~wd~ng thxs annual consumption
by eleven (11) will prowde the consumption used to
generate the average bxll for the next twelve (12)
months The bxll shall be calculated on the same
b~llxng schedules that are applicable to the specific
customer The customer shall be b~lled th~s average
b~ll~ng for the f~rst eleven [11) b~ll~ngs of each
year On the twelfth billing, the C~ty w~ll etther
credit the customer for the amount bxlled xn excess
of the actual twelve (12) months' consumptxon or b~ll
the customer for the amount of actual consumption ~n
excess of the average b~ll~ng prowded for herein
Customer shall have until the next b~ll~ng date to
pay any add~txonal b~ll~ngs"
SECTION II
Thxs Ordinance shall become effective from and after ~ts
date of passage and approval
