AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON,
TBXAS, AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS AN APPENDIX TO THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 69-1,
AND AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO 6 79 ACRES OF LAND, MORE OR LESS, OUT
OF THE M YOACHUM SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO 1442, AND DECLARING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
The Zoning Classification and Use designation of the
following described property, to-wit
Ail that certain 6 79 acre tract, or parcel of land
s~tuated ~n the M Yoachum Survey, Abstract No 1442
~n the C~ty of Denton and County of Denton, Texas,
sa~d tract being part of a tract shown by deed to
Walton Jay and recorded ~n Volume 1014, Page 927 of
the Deed Records of Denton County, Texas, and being
more particularly described as follows,
BEGINNING for the southwest corner of the tract being
described here~n at the southwest corner of sa~d
Walton Jay Tract,
THMNCE north S64 9 feet to Walton Jay's northwest
corner,
THENCE north 89° SS' 20" east ~2~ 6 feet to the west
l~ne of a tract zoned SF-7,
THENCE south w~th l~ne of sa~d SF-7 zoned tract 564 9
feet to Walton Jay's south l~ne,
THMNCE south 890 SS' 20" west S2~ 6 feet to the
point of beginning

Use to S~ngle Family "SF-7" D~str~ct Classification and Use
under the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the C~ty of Denton,
Texas The Zoning Map of the C~ty of Denton, Texas, adopted the
14th day of January, 1969, as an Appendix to the Code of
Ordinances of the C~ty of Denton, Texas under Ordinance No
69-1, be, and the same ~s hereby amended to show such change ~n
D~str~ct Classification and Use
SECTION II
That the C~ty Council of the C~ty of Denton, Texas hereby
f~nds that such change ~s ~n accordance w~th a comprehensive
plan for the purpose of promoting the general welfare of the
C~ty of Denton, Texas, and w~th reasonable consideration, among
other th~ngs for the character of the d~str~ct and for ~ts
pecuhar smtab~l~ty or particular uses, and w~th a wew to
conserwng the value of the bmldtngs, protecting human l~ves,
and encouraging the most appropriate uses of land for the
maximum benefit to the C~ty of Denton, Texas, and ~ts c~t~zens
