TEXAS, AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS AN APPEND IX TO THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 69-1,
AND AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO LOT 1, BLOCK 3 OF THE W H WATTAM
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF DENTON, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
HEREIN, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
The Zoning Classification and Use designation of the
following described property, to-wlt
Being all that certain lot, tract or parcel of land out of Lot
No 1 in Block No 3 of the W H Wattam Addition to the City
of Denton, as shown by map or plat thereof recorded ~n Book 86,
Page 526 and 527 of the Deed Records of Denton County, Texas,
and beginning at the northeast corner of sa~d Lot 1,
THENCE south 193 feet, a corner 12 feet north of the southeast
corner of sa~d Lot No 1,
TRHENCE west parallel with the south line of Lot No 1, 100
feet a corner,
THENCE north parallel with the east line of Lot No 1, 193
feet, a corner in the north line of Lot No 1,
THENCE east 100 feet to the place of beg~nnlng
is hereby changed from Single-Family "SF-7" Dlstr~ct Classifi-
cation Use to Multi-Family Restricted "MF-R" D~str~ct
Classification and Use under the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
of the City of Denton, Texas The Zoning Map of the City of
Denton, Texas, adopted the 14th day of January, 1969, as an
Appendix to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton, Texas
under Ordinance No 69-1, be, and the same ~s hereby amended to
show such change in Dlstr~ct Classification and Use
SECTION II
That the Clty Council of the C~ty of Denton, Texas hereby
finds that such change is in accordance with a comprehensive
plan for the purpose of promoting the general welfare of the
C~ty of Denton, Texas, and wlth reasonable consideration, among
other things for the character of the district and for ~ts
peculiar suitability or particular uses, and with a view to
conserving the value of the bulld~ngs, protecting human l~ves,
and encouraging the most appropriate uses of land for the
maximum benefit to the C~ty of Denton, Texas, and ~ts citizens
SECTION III
That th~s ordinance shall be in full force and effect
immediately after lts passage and approval, the required public
hearings having heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning
Commission and the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas,
after giving due not~ce thereof
