AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON,
TEXAS, AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS AN APPENDIX TO THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF D~NTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 69-1,
AND AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO LOT 15, BLOCK 594 AS SHOWN THIS DATE
ON THR OFFICIAL TAX MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND
DECLARING AN EFFECTIV~ DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF D~NTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
The Zoning Classification and Use designation of the
follow~ng described property, to-w~t
Ail that parcel of land described ~n Lot 15, Block 594 of the
Tax Records of the C~ty of Denton, Texas, and being more
particularly described as 915 Avenue D, Denton, Texas,
~s hereby changed from S~ngle Family "SE-7" D~str~ct Class~f~-
cat~on Use to General Retail "GR" D~str~ct Classification and
Use under the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the C~ty of
Denton, Texas The Zoning Map of the C~ty of Denton, Texas,
adopted the 14th day of January, 1969, as an Appendix to the
Code of Ordinances of the C~ty of Denton, Texas under Ordinance
No 69-1, be, and the same ~s hereby amended to show such change
~n D~str~ct Classification and Use
SECTION II
That the C~ty Council of the C~ty of Denton, Texas hereby
f~nds that such change ~s ~n accordance w~th a comprehensive
plan for the purpose of promoting the general welfare of the
C~ty of Denton, Texas, and w~th reasonable consideration, among
other th~ngs for the character of the d~str~ct and for ~ts
peculiar suitability or particular uses, and w~th a wew to
conserving the value of the buildings, protecting human l~ves,
and encouraging the most appropriate uses of land for the
maximum benefit to the C~ty of Denton, Texas, and ~ts c~t~zens
S~CTION III
That th~s ordinance shall be ~n full force and effect
~mmed~ately after ~ts passage and approval, the required public
hearings hawng heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning
Commission and the C~ty Council of the C~ty of Denton, Texas,
after glwng due not~ce thereof
