AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON,
TEXAS, AS SA~B WAS ADOPTED AS AN APPENDIX TO THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 69-1,
AND AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO LOT 3, IN BLOCK A, MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND DECLARING AN BFFBCTIVF DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
The Zoning Classification and Use designation of the
following described property, to-w~t
All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land lying and being
s~tuated in the C~ty and County of Denton, State of Texas,
being known and designated as all of Lot ~ ~n Block A of the
Replat of part of Teasley Mall Subdivision, an addition to the
C~ty of Denton as shown by Map or Plat thereof recorded ~n
Volume 14, Page 1, Plat Records, Denton County, Texas, and
being parts o£ the C Poullal~er Survey, Abstract No 1007, and
the S C Hlrams Survey, Abstract No 616, Denton County, Texas,
~s hereby changed from N~ghborhood Serwce "NS" D~str~ct
Classification Use to General Retail "GR" D~str~ct
Classification and Use under the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
of the C~ty of Denton, Texas The Zoning Map of the C~ty of
Denton, Texas, adopted the 14th day of January, 1969, as an
Appendix to the Code of Ordinances of the C~ty of Denton, Texas
under Ordinance No 69-1, be, and the same is hereby amended to
show such change in D~strlct Classification and Use
SECTION II
That the City Council of the C~ty of Denton, Texas hereby
f~nds that such change ~s ~n accordance w~th a comprehensive
plan for the purpose of promoting the general welfare of the
City of Denton, Texas, and w~th reasonable consideration, among
other things for the character of the d~str~ct and for its
peculiar suitability or particular uses, and w~th a wew to
conserwng the value of the buildings, protecting human l~ves,
and encouraging the most appropriate uses of land for the
maximum benefit to the City of Denton, Texas, and ~ts c~t~zens
SECTION III
That this ordinance shall be ~n full force and effect
immediately after its passage and approval, the required public
hearings having heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning
Commission and the C~ty Council of the C~ty of Denton, Texas,
