AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBPARAGRAPH (C)(4) OF SECTION 25-23 OF
THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS PERTAINING
TO ELECTRICAL PRIMARY CONDUIT SYSTEMS AND ELECTRICAL PRIMARY
VOLTAGE EQUIPMENT, REQUIRING THE OWNER OF PROPERTY TO INSTALL
AND MAINTAIN SUCH SYSTEMS, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
Subparagraph (c)(4) of Section 25-23 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Denton, Texas is amended to read as
follows
(4) The owner shall furnish, install and maintain
primary conduit systems where transformers and/or
primary voltage equipment is required to be
installed on the owner's property The conduit
system shall be a part of the building plans and
specifications and sub3ect to approval of the
Director of Utilities The City shall have
access to such systems at all times for
maintenance and operation purposes which shall
also be provided for in the service agreement
with each customer
SECTION II
This ordinance shall become effective from and after its
date of passage All ordinances in confect herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict only
