AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON,
TEXAS, AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS AN APPENDIX TO THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 59-1,
AND AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO LOT 3, BLOCK 328, AS SHOWN THIS DATE
ON THE OFFICIAL TAX MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND MORE
PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED THEREIN, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, adopted the
lath day of January, 1969, as an Appendix to the Code of
OrOlnances of the City of Denton, Texas, under provisions of
Ordinance No 69-1, be, and the same is hereby amended as follows
All the hereinafter described property Is hereby removed from the
Multi~Family "MF-i" Dlstrlot as shown on said Zonzng Map, and
provisions of Ordinance No 69-1, adopted the 14th day of
January, 1969, as amended, shal] hereafter apply to sa~d property
as Single Family "SE-7" District in the same manner as other
property 1coated zn the Single-Family "SF-7" Dlstrtct,
All that certain lot, tract or parcel of ]and lying and bezng
situated fn the City and County of Denton, Texas, and being mor~
particularly described as Lot ~, Block 328 of the official tax
map of the City of Denton, Texas and aisc known as 409 West Oak
Street, in the City of Denton, Texas
SECTION II
Thai the Czty Council of the Czty of Denton, Texas hereby
finds that such change is in accordance with a comprehensive plan
for the purpose of promoting the general welfare of the City of
Denton, Texas, and w~th reasonable consideration, among other
th~ngs for the character of the d~str~et and for ]t~ peculiar
suitability or particular uses, and w]th a view to eonservlno fhe
value of the buildings, proteetzng human 1ives, and encouraging
the most appropriate uses of land for the maximum b~nef]t to the
Czty of Denton, Texas, and its ctt~zens

That this ordinance shall be ~n full force and effect
~mmedlately after ~ts passage and approval, the requtced public
hearings hawng heretofore been held by the Planning and ?onlng
Commission and the City Council of the C~ty of Denton, Texas,
atter giving due notice thereof
