AN ORDINANCE REMOVING PARKING ON BOTH SIDES OF WOODROWLANE FROM
MORSE STREET TO 500 FEET SOUTH OF THE WILLOW SPRINGS INTERSECTION
PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, PROVIDING A PENALTY, AND DECLAR-
ING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HFREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That both sides of Woodrow Lane from Morse Street to 500 feet
South of the Willow Springs tntersectzon shall not be used for the
parkzng of vehicles or in any manner obstructed at any tzme, and
the same shall be so posted by the proper authoritzes of the Czty
of Denton, Texas
SECTION II
That if any section, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause,
phrase or word zn this ordinance or applzcation thereof to any
person or circumstances is held lnvalzd by any court of competent
3urzsdiction, such holdzng shall not affect the valldzty of the
remazning portions of thzs ordinance, and the City Counczl of the
Czty of Denton, Texas, hereby declares it would have enacted such
remaznzng portions despite any such znvaltdity
SECTION III
That Section 1-5 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Denton zs zncorporated znto the ordinance as zf set out zn full
herezn, and the penalty by fine not to exceed Two Hundred Dollars
zs applicable hereto, and it is hereby declared unlawful to park
any vehicle on any portion of the above described streets as is
posted or marked as a "No Parking Zone"
SECTION IV
That thzs ordinance shall become effectzve thirty days from
the date of its passage, and the City Secretary zs hereby dzrected
to cause the caption of this ordinance to be publzshed twice zn the
Denton Record-Chronicle, the officzal newspaper of the Czty of Denton,
Texas, within ten (10) days of zts passage
