AN ORDINANCE AMEN'DING THE gONING MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS,
AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS AN APPENDIX TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 69-1, AND AS SAID MAP
APPLIES TO LOT l, BLOCK 4031, AS SHOWN THIS DATE ON THE OFFICIAL
TAX MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED THEREIN, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SEQTION I
That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, adopted the
14th day of January, 1969, as an Appendmx to the Code of Ordmnances
of the Cmty of Denton, Texas, under provmslons of Ordinance No 69-1,
be, and the same ms hereby amended as follows
All the hereinafter described property ms hereby removed
from the Single-Family "SF-7" Dmstrmct as shown on said
Zonmng Map, and all prov~smons of Ordmnance No 69-1,
adopted the 14th day of January, 1969, as amended, shall
hereafter apply to said property as Two-Family "2-F" Dms-
trict mn the same manner as other property located mn the
Two-Family "2-F" Dmstrmct,
All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land lymng and
being situated in the Cmty and County of Denton, State
of Texas, and being Lot 1, Block 4031 and bemng a tract
of land totallmng 15,000 square feet of land located on
the west side of Bradley Street between Sena and Scripture
mn the Cmty of Denton, Texas
SECTION II
That the City Councml of the Cmty of Denton, Texas hereby
finds that such change ms ~n accordance wmth a comprehensive plan
for the purpose of promoting the general welfare of the Czty of
Denton, Texas, and with reasonable consmderat~on, among other thmngs
for the character of the district and for its peculiar sumtab~l~ty
or particular uses, and w~th a vmew to conserving the value of the
buildings, protecting human l~ves, and encouraging the most appro-
priate uses of land for the maximum benefmt to the C~ty of Denton,
Texas, and its citmzens
SECTION III
That this ordinance shall be ~n full force and effect immedm-
ately after mrs passage and approval, the required public hearings
having heretofore been held by the Planning and Zonmng Comm~ssmon
and the City Councml of the City of Denton, Texas, after g~v~ng due
notice thereof
