AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TFXAS,
AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS AN APPENDIX TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 69-1, AND AS SAID MAP
APPLIES TO APPROXIMATELY 2 2 ACRES OUT OF LOT NO 20, BLOCK NO
136-B, AS SHOWN THIS DATE ON THE OFFICIAL TAX MAP OF THE CITY OF
DENTON, TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED THEREIN, AND DE-
CLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINSs
SECTION I
That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, adopted the
14th day of January, 1969, as an Appendix to the Code of Ordinances
of the Cmty of Denton, Texas, under provisions of Ordinance No 69-1,
be, and the same is hereby amended as follows.
All the herelnafter descrlbed property is hereby removed
from the Planned Development'PD" and Agricultural "A"
Districts as shown on said Zoning Map, and all provisions
of Ordinance No 69-1, adopted the 14th day of January,
1969, as amended, shall hereafter apply to said property
as Sxngle-Fam~ly "SF-7) Dmstrlct an the same manner as
other property located in the Single-Family "SF-7" D1strlct,
All that certamn lot, tract or parcel of land lying and be-
Lng sltuated in the City and County of Denton, State of
Texas, and being approximately 2 2 acres out of C~ty Lot
No. 20, Block No 136B and bemng located on the west side
of Stuart Lane in the general vlcmn~ty of S~erra and Man-
hattan Dr~ve in the City of Denton, Texas
SECTION II
That the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas hereby
f~nds that such change is in accordance with a comprehensive plan
for the purpose of promotmng the general welfare of the Cmty of
Denton, Texas, and w~th reasonable consideration, among other th~ngs
for the character of the d~strlct and for its peculiar suitability
or partmoular uses, and w~th a vmew to conserving the value of the
buildings, protectlng human l~ves, and encouraging the most appro-
priate uses of land for the maximum benefit to the City of Denton,
Texas, and its cltlzens
SECTION III
That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect lnunedl-
ately after mrs passage and approval, the required public hearings
having heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning Commission
and the Cmty Council of the C1ty of Denton, Texas, after giving due
notice thereof
