1978-055 AN ORDINANCE NAMING A NEW STREET CONSTRUCTED AS PART OF THE
SHERMAN DRIVE PROJECT AS CORONADO STREET, PROVIDING A SEVER-
ABILITY CLAUSE AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
The City Councml hereby fmnds and determmnes that the
publmc convenmence would be best served mf the street con-
structed between the mntersectmon wmth Stuart Road and the
mntereectmon wmth Sherman Drmve be now and hereafter know~n
as Coronado Street and such name ms hereby so desmgnated
SECTION II
That mf any sectmon, subsectmon, paragraph, sentence,
clause, phrase or word mn thms ordmnance, or applmcatmon
thereof to any person or cmrcumstances ms held mnvalmd by
any court of competent ]urisdmctmon, such holding shall not
affect the valmdmty of the remamnmng portmons of thms ordmn-
ance, and the Cmty Councml of the Cmty of Denton, Texas,
hereby declares mt would have enacted such remamnmng por-
tmons despmte any such mnvalmdmty
SECTION III
That thms ordinance shall become effectmve fourteen days
from the date of mrs passage, and the Cmty Secretary ms here-
by directed to cause the captmon of thms ordmnance to be
publmshed twmce mn the Denton Record-Chronmcle, the offmcmal
newspaper of the C~ty of Denton, Texas, wmthln ten (10) days
of the date of ~ts passage
