1978-041AN ORDINANCE BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS,
AMENDING APPENDIX B "ZONING ORDINANCE" (ORDINANCE NO 69-1) OF
THE CODE OF ORDINANCES ARTICLE 7 BY ADDING "HALFWAY HOUSES" TO
CERTAIN ZONING DISTRICTS, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That Article 7, Appendix B-Zoning is hereby amended by
adding under "C Educational, Institutional and Special Uses"
~n the chart the following
"Halfway Houses By specific use permit in
Agricultural Zoning Distr~ct through Park-
· ng District and zsa permitted use zn
Office D~str~ct through Planned Development
Distr~ct"
SECTION II
That this ordinance shall become effective fourteen days
from the date of ~ts passage, and the C~ty Secretary is hereby
d~rected to cause the caption of this ordinance to be published
twice in the Denton Record-Chronicle, the official newspaper of
the City of Denton, Texas, w~thln ten (10) days of the date of
its passage
