THE CITY OF DENTON. TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 69-1, AND A~ SAID MAP
APPLIES TO APPROXIMATELY 47.8 ACRES OF LAND~ MORE OR LESS, AS
SHOWN THIS DATE ON THE OFFICIAL TAX MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON.
TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED THEREIN, AND DECLARING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That the Zoning Map of the Cmty of Denton, Texas. adopted the
14th day of January. 1969. as an Appendmx to the Code of Ordmnances
of the Cmty of Denton. Texas, under prov~smons of Ordmnance No 69-1,
be. and the same ms hereby amended as follows
All the heremnafter descrmbed property ms hereby removed
from the Agrmcultural "A" Dmstrmct as shown on samd Zon-
ing Map, and all provmsmons of Ordmnance No 69-1, adopted
the 14th day of January, 1969. as amended, shall hereafter
apply to samd property as Lmght Industrmal "LI" Dlstrmct
mn the same manner as other property located mn the Light
Industrlal "LI" Dmstrmct;
All that certazn tract or parcel of land situated in the F E P &
P R R Company Survey, Abstract No 927, Denton County, Texas, be-
lng same 47 936 acre tract described ~n a deed from Ronald R Reeder
Trustee to Fike R G~eer, Trustee, on September 11, 1974, recorded
mn Volume 772, Page 743 of the Deed Records of Denton County, Texas
and more partmcularly described as follo, s
BEGINNING at a steel pmn at a fence corner at the northeast corner
of said 47 743 acre tract,
THENCE south 3° 59' 04" west along and near a fence 2070 10 feet to
a fence corner on north line of a public road near the south l~ne
of said M E P & P R R Company Survey,
THENCE north 88° 36' 59" west wlth said fence and north line of sa~d

for the purpose of promotmng the general welfare of the Cmty of
Denton, Texas, and wmth reasonable consideration, among other
thmngs for the character of the dmstrmct and for mts peculmar
sumtabmlmty or partmcular uses, and wmth a view to conservmng the
value of the bulldmngs, protectmng human lmves, and encouraging
the most approprmate uses of land for the maximum benefmt to the
Cmty of Denton, Texas, and mts cmtlzens
SECTION III
That thms ordmnance shall be mn full force and effect mmmedm-
ately after its passage and approval, the required publmc hearmngs
havmng heretofore been held by the Plannmng and Zonmng Commmsslon
and the Cmty Councml of the Cmty of Denton, Texas, after ~mvmng due
not~ce thereof.
