AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS,
AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS AN APPENDIX TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 69-1, AND AS SAID MAP
APPLIED TO A PORTION OF LOT 2, BLOCK 3030, AS SHOWN THIS DATF ON
THE OFFICIAL TAX MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND MORE PAR-
TICULARLY DESCRIBED THEREIN AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That the Zoning Map of the Czty of Denton, Texas, adopted the
14th day of January, 1969, as an Appendzx to the Code of Ordmnances
of the Czty of Denton, Texas, under provzsmons of Ordznance No 69-1,
by, and the same is hereby amended as follows
Ail the hereznafter described property ms hereby removed
from the Multi Famzly District as shown on sazd Zonzng Map,
and all provisions of Ordinance No 69-1, adopted the 14th
day of January, 1969, as amended, shall hereafter apply to
sazd property as General Retazl "GR" Dzstrzct in the same
manner as other property located zn the General Retazl "GR"
Dzstrict,
Ail that certamn lot, tract or parcel of land lyzng and
bezng situated in the Czty and County of Denton, State of
Texas, and bezng Lot 2, Block 3030 located at 2531 Pratrme
Street
SECTION II
That the Czty Council of the Czty of Denton, Texas, hereby
finds that such change is in accordance wzth a comprehenszve plan
for the purpose of promotzng the general welfare of the Czty of
Denton, Texas, and with reasonable conszderation among other
thzngs for the character of the distrzct and for ~ts peculiar
suitabzlity or particular uses, and with a vzew to conservzng the
value of the building, protecting human lzves, and encouraging
the most appropriate uses of land for the maxzmum benefit to the
C~ty of Denton, Texas, and its citzzens
SECTION III
That thzs ordinance shall be in full force and effect zmmedz-
ately after its passage and approval, the requzred publmc hearings
havzng heretofore been held by the Planning and Zonzng Commzssion
and the City Counczl of the City of Denton, Texas after gzving due
notzce thereof
