AS SAME WAS ADOPTED A~ AN APPENDIX TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 69-1, AND AS SAID MAP
APPLIES TO A PORTION OF LOT 22, BLOCK NO 233-C, AS SHOWN THIS DATE
ON THE OFFICIAL TAX MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND MORE PAR-
TICULARLY DESCRIBED THEREIN, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS SECTION I
That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, adopted the
14th day of January, 1969, as an Appendix to the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Denton, Texas, under provms~ons of Ordlnance No 69-1,
be, and the same ms hereby amended as follows
All the heremnafter descrmbed property ~s hereby removed
from the Agrmcultural "A" Dmstrmct as shown on samd Zon-
ing Map, and all prov~smons of Ordmnance No 69-1 , adopted
the 14th day of January, 1969, as amended , shall hereafter
apply to sa~d property as General Retall "GR" D~strlct
mn the same manner as other property located in the General
Retail "GR" Dmstrmct,
All that certamn lot, tract or parcel of land lymng and be-
lng s~tuated in the City and County of Denton, State of
Texas, and being a 2 1 portmon of Lot 22, Block 233-C, be-
ing located on the west side of Teasley Lane south of In-
terstate 35E, having approximately 360 feet of Teasley
frontage and extending westward approxmmately 335 feet on
the north and 300 feet on the south s~de of samd tract
SECTION II
That the Cmty Council of the Cmty of Denton, Texas hereby
fmnds that such change ms mn accordance w~th a comprehensive plan
for the purpose of promotmng the general welfare of the City of
Denton, Texas, and w~th reasonable consmderatmon, among other thmngs
for the character of the dlstrmct and for mts peculiar suitabml~ty
or particular uses, and with a v~ew to conserving the value of the
bu~ldlngs, protecting human lmves, and encouraging the most appro-
priate uses of land for the maxmmum benefmt to the C~ty of Denton,
Texas, and mrs cltmzens
SECTION III
That thms ordmnance shall be mn full force and effect mmmed~-
ately after ~ts passage and approval, the requmred public hearmngs
having heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning Comm~ssmon
and the City Councml of the City of Denton, Texas, after gmvlng due
notmce thereof
