AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS~
AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS AN APPFNDIX TO THE CODF OF ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 69-1, AND AS SAID MAP
APPLIES TO VARIOUS LOTS AND BLOCKS AS SHOWN ON EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED
HFRETO FOR ALL PURPOSES AS SHOWN THIS DATE ON THF OFFICIAL TAX ~P
OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED THERE-
IN, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TFXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, adopted the
14th day of January, 1969, as an Appendix to the Code of Ordinances
of the C~ty of Denton, Texas, under provisions of Ordinance No 69-1,
be, and the same ~s hereby amended as follows
Ail the hereinafter described property ~s hereby removed
from the Multi-Family "MF~i" DIstr~ct as shown on said
Zoning Map, and all prov~s~ons of Ordinance No 69-1,
adopted the 14th day of January, 1969, as amended, shall
hereafter apply to sa~d property as Single Family "SF-7"
Dlstr~ct ~n the same manner as other property located in
the Single Family "SF-7" District,
Ail that certain lot, tract or parcel of land lying and
being situated in the City and County of Denton, State
of Texas, and being all of the various lots and blocks
as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and being the
property on West Oak Street, Denton, Texas
SECTION II
That the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas hereby
f~nds that such change is ~n accordance with a comprehensive plan
for the purpose of promoting the general welfare of the C~ty of
Denton, Texas, and w~th reasonable consideration, among other th~ngs
for the character of the d~strlct and for ~ts peculiar suitability
or particular uses, and with a v~ew to conserving the value of the
buildings, protecting human l~ves, and encouraging the most appro-
priate uses of land for the maximum benefit to the C~ty of Denton,
Texas, and its citizens
SECTION III
That th~s ordinance shall be ~n full force and effect ~mmed~-
ately after ~ts passage and approval, the required public hear~nRs
having heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning Commission
and the City Council of the C~ty of Denton, Texas, after ~vlng due
not~ce thereof
