SECTION I
That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, adopted the
14th day of January, 1969, as an ~pendlx to the Code of Ordinances
of the City of ~nton, Texas, ~der provisions of Ordinance No 69-1,
be, and the same is hereby amended as follows
Ail the hereinafter described proper~ is hereby removed
from the "A" Agracultural Dastract as shown on said Zon-
ing Map, and all provlsaons of Ordinance No 69-1, adopted
the 14th day of January, 1969, as amended, shall hereafter
apply to saad proper~ as "SF-10" Single Family District
· n the same manner as other proper~ located an the "SF-10"
Single Fa~ly District,
Ail that certain lot, tract or parcel of land lying and be-
ang situated in the City and Co~ty of Denton, State of
Texas, and being part of Lot Nos 22, 36 ~d 38, Ci~ Block
No 285, ~d further described as being located sou~east
of ~e intersection of Longradge Drave and Teasley Lane,
representing approximately 70 acres of l~d
SECTION II
~at the City Co.oil of the City of Denton, Texas hereby
finds that such change as an accordance wath a comprehensave plan
for the purpose of promotang the general welfare of the C~ty of
Denton, Texas, and wath reasonable consideration, among other things
for the character of the distract and for ~ts peculiar suitability
or particular uses, and wath a view to conserving the value of the
buildings, protecting h~an lives, and encouraging the most appro-
priate uses of land for the maxlm~ benefit to the C~ty of Denton,
Texas, and its cltlzens
SECTION III
That th~s ordan~ce shall be an full force and effect
ately after ~ts passage and approval, the required public hearangs
having heretofore been held by the Plannang and Zoning Co~lsslon
and the City Co.oil of the City of Denton, Texas, after giving due
notace thereof
