1976-026 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS,
AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS AN APPENDIX TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 69-1, AND AS SAID MAP
APPLIES TO LOT NO 1, BLOCK NO 233-C, AS SHOWN THIS DATE ON THE
OFFICIAL TAX MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICU-
LARLY DESCRIBED THEREIN; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, adopted the
14th day of January, 1969, as an Appendix to the Code of Ordinances
of the Clty of Denton, Texas, under provisions of Ordlnance No 69-1,
be, and the same is hereby amended as follows
Ail the herelnafter described property is hereby removed
from the "A" Agricultural D~strlct as shown on said Zon-
ing Map, and all provlslons of Ordinance No 69-1, adopted
the 14th day of January, 1969, as amended, shall hereafter
apply to said property as "NS" Neighborhood Service District
· n the same manner as other property located ~n the "NS"
Neighborhood Service D~strlct,
All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land lying and
belng situated in the C~ty and County of Denton, State of
Texas, and belng Lot No l, Block No 233-C and being
further described as being located on the northwest corner
of Teasley Lane and Londonderry Lane in the City of Denton,
Texas
SECTION II
That the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas hereby
finds that such change ls in accordance with a comprehensive plan
for the purpose of promoting the general welfare of the C~ty of
Denton, Texas, and w~th reasonable conslderatlon, among other th~ngs
for the character of the dlstr~ct and for ~ts peculiar suitability
or particular uses, and with a v~ew to conserving the value of the
buildings, protecting human l~ves, and encouraging the most appro-
priate uses of land for the maximum benefit to the C~ty of Denton,
Texas, and its citizens
SECTION III
That th~s ordinance shall be ~n full force and effect immedi-
ately after its passage and approval, the required public hearings
having heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning Commission
and the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, after giving due
not~ce thereof
