AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS AN APPENDIX TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 69-1, AND AS SAID MAP
~PLIES TO LOT NO 3 AND THE SOUTHWEST PART OF LOT 1F, CITY BLOCK
NO 4071, AS SHOWN THIS DATE ON THE OFFICIAL TAX MAP OF THE CITY
OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED THEREIN, AND
DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE CO~CIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That the Zoning Map of the Caty of Denton, Texas, adopted the
14th day of January, 1969, as an Appendax to the Code of Ordinances
of the Caty of Denton, Texas, ~der provasaons of Ordanance No 69-1,
be, and the same as hereby amended as follows
Ail the hereanafter descrabed property is hereby removed
from the "GR" General Retail Dastrlct as shown on sa~d
Zonang Map, and all provisions of Ordinance No 69-1,
adopted the 14th day of January, 1969, as amended, shall
hereafter apply to saad property as "C" Commercaal Das-
tract in the same manner as other property located in
Se "C" Commercaal Dastract,
All that certaan lot, tract or parcel of land lyang and
beang satuated an the Caty and Co~ty of Denton, State
of Texas, and beang Lot No 3 and the southwest part of
Lot 1F of Caty Block No 4071 and being located on the
northeast corner of the intersection of University Dr~ve
and Bonnae Brae Street ~n the City of Denton, Texas
SECTION II
That the City Co~cll of the City of Denton, Texas hereby
finds that such change as an accordance with a comprehensive plan
for the purpose of promotang the general welfare of the City of
Denton, Texas, and wath reasonable conslderataon, among other things
for the character of the dastraot and for its peculiar suatab~laty
or partacular uses, and wath a view to conservang the value of the
buildings, protectang human laves, and encouraging the most appro-
praate uses of land for the maxamum benefit to the C~ty of Denton,
Texas, and its catlzens
SECTION III
That thas ordinance shall be in full force and effect ~mmedl-
ately after its passage and approval, the required publac hearings
havang heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning Comm~ssaon
and the Caty Co~cll of the Caty of Denton, Texas, after gavlng due
notice thereof
