AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS AN APPENDIX TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 69-1, AND AS SAID MAP
APPLIES TO LOT NOS 25 AND 26, CITY BLOCK NO 231, AS SHOWN THIS
DATE ON THE OFFICIAL TAX MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND
MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED THEREIN, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
THE cOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That the Zonang Map of the Caty of Denton, Texas, adopted the
14th day of January, 1969, as an Appendix to the Code of Ordanances
of the City of Denton, Texas, under provlsaons of Ordinance No 69-1,
be, and the same as hereby amended as follows
Ail the hereanafter descrabed property as hereby removed
from the "SF-7" Sangle Family Dastract as shown on sa~d
Zonang Map, and all provasaons of Ordanance No 69-1,
adopted the 14th day of January, 1969, as amended, shall
hereafter apply to said property as "O" Offace D~stract
an the same manner as other property located in the "O"
Offace Dlstract,
Ail that certaan lot, tract or parcel of land lylng and
beang sltuated ~n the C~ty and County of Denton, State
of Texas, and beang City Lot Nos 25 and 26, C~ty Block
No 231 being located on the north s~de of Dallas Drave
and west of Cook Street an the C~ty of Denton, Texas
SECTION II
That the Caty Couneal of the Caty of Denton, Texas hereby
finds that such change as an accordance w~th a comprehensave plan
for the purpose of promoting the general welfare of the City of
Denton, Texas, and wath reasonable consaderataon, among other th~ngs
for the character of the d~stract and for ats peculaar suataballty
or partacular uses, and w~th a vaew to conservang the value of the
buildings, protecting human laves, and encouragang the most appro-
prlate~uses of land for the maxamum benefit to the Caty of Denton,
Texas,~and ~ts c~tazens
SECTION III
That thas ordanance shall be an full force and effect zmmeda-
ately after ars passage and approval, the required publac hearings
having heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning Commlssaon
and the Clty Council of the Caty of Denton, Texas, after giving due
notice thereof
