1976-014AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE V, CHAPTER 2, SECTION 211 OF THE CITY
OF DENTON PLUMBING CODE, PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, AND DE-
CLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
PART I
That Article V, Chapter 2 ms hereby amended by amending Section
211 as follows
"Sectaon 211 USE OF PVC AND ABS PLASTIC PIPE
(a) (1) Schedule 40 PVC or AES may be used for dramns, wastes,
and vents mn all types of constructaon when the bulld-
ang as not over three stories mn hemght
Subparagraphs (2), (3) and (4) are deleted mn themr entarety
Subparagraphs (5) and (6) are to be the new subparagraphs (2)
and (3) respectavely"
PART II
That af any sectaon, s ubsectaon, paragraph, sentence, clause,
phrase or word an thms ordanance, or applicatIon thereof to any
person or carcumstances as held mnvalad by any court of competent
]urasdactlon, such holding shall not affect the valzdaty of the
remaznmng portions of thms ordmnance, and the Czty Councal of the
Czty of Denton, Texas, hereby declares mt would have enacted such
remaznmng portaons despate any such mnvalmdlty
PART III
That thas ordanance shall become effectave fourteen (14) days
from the date of ats passage, and the Caty Secretary as hereby
darected to cause the captaon of this ordInance to be publIshed
twzce mn the Denton Record-Chronmcle, the offmcmal newspaper of
the Caty of Denton, Texas, wathzn ten (10) days of the date of mts
passage
