1976-009AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5 1 OF CHAPTER 5 "BUILDINGS" OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS BY CHANGING THE
MANNER IN WHICH FIRE ZONES ARE ESTABLISHED, PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY
CLAUSE, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
PART I
That Sectaon 5 1 of Chapter 5 "Bulldangs" of the Code of Ordan-
ances is hereby amended to read as follows
"SECTION 5 1 - FIRE ZONES ESTABLISHED
The fire zones of the city are hereby established by an official
map Indicating fire zone one, fire zone two and fire zone three and
the map will be designated as the "Fare Zone Map" "
PART II
That if any section, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause,
phrase or word in thls ordinance, or application thereof to any per-
son or circumstances is held lnvalad by any court of competent juris-
diction, such holding shall not affect the valadaty of the remaln~ng
portions of thas ordinance, and the Caty Council of the City of Denton,
Texas, hereby declares at would have enacted such remaining portaons
despate any such invalidity
PART III
That thas ordlnance shall become effectave ten (10) days from
the date of its passage
