AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS,
AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS AN APPENDIX TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 69-1, AND AS SAID MAP
APPLIES TO TRACT NO i 5, CITY BLOCK NO 233-C, AS SHOWN THIS DATE
ON THE OFFICIAL TAX MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND MORE PAR-
TICULARLY DESCRIBED THEREIN, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, adopted the
14th day of January, 1969, as an Appendix to the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Denton, Texas, under provzszons of Ordznance No 69-1,
be, and the same zs hereby amended as follows
Ail the hereznafter descrzbed property zs hereby removed
from the "A" Agricultural Distrzct as shown on sazd Zon-
zng Map, and all provzszons of 0rdznance No 69-1, adopted
the 14th day of January, 1969, as amended, shall hereafter
apply to said property as "0" Offzce Dzstrzct zn the same
manner as other property located zn the "0" Offzce Dzstrict,
Ail that certazn lot, tract or parcel of land lying and be-
zng situated in the City and County of Denton, State of
Texas, and bezng Tract No 1 5 of Czty Block No 233-C com-
prlszng approxzmately 1/3 acre and bezng located on the
southwest corner of Londonderry Lane and Teasley Lane zn
the Czty of Denton, Texas
SECTION II
That the City Council of the Czty of Denton, Texas hereby fznds
that such change is zn accordance wzth a comprehenszve plan for the
purpose of promotzng the general welfare of the Czty of Denton, Texas,
and wzth reasonable consideration, among other things for the character
of the district and for zts peculiar suztabzlzty or partzcular uses,
and wzth a view to conservzng the value of the buzldzngs, protectzng
human lzves, and encouragzng the most approprzate uses of land for the
maximum benefzt to the Czty of Denton, Texas, and zts cztzzens
SECTION III
That thzs ordznance shall be in full force and effect zmmedzately
after zts passage and approval, the required publzc hearzngs havzng
heretofore been held by the Plannzng and Zonzng Commzsszon and the Czty
Counczl of the Czty of Denton, Texas, after gzvzng due notzce thereof
