CITY BLOICK 3037, AS SHOWN THIS DATE ON THE OFFICIAL TAX MAP OF THE
CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED THEREIN, AND
DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUN~CIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS

That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, adopted
January~14, 1969, as an Appendix to the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Denton, Texas, under provisions of Ordinance No 69-1, be,
and the Isame is hereby amended as follows
All' the hereinafter described property zs hereby removed
from the "A" Agricultural District as shown on said Zon-
ing Map, and all provisions of Ordinance No 69-1, adopted
the 14th day of January, 1969, as amended, shall hereafter
app~ly to said property as "SF-10" & "SF-16" Single Family
Dis[trier in the same manner as other property located in
the "SF-10" & "SF-16" Single Family District,
Ali that certain lot, tract or parcel of land lying and be-
in~ situated in the City and County of Denton, State of
Te~a~ Being that portion of land located on the south side
of Willowwood Drive and along both the east and west sides
of the proposed extension of Highland Park Road (approxi-
mately 18 acres of land) City Lots 3 & 4, City Block 3036
being that portion east, of Highland Park Poad and being
zoned "SF-i~5" Single Family District and City Lots 2,3 & 5
City Block 3037 being that portion west of Highland Park
Road and being zoned as "SF-I~" Single Famzly District
SECTION II
That the ,City Council of =he City of Denton, Texas hereby finds
that such chamge is in accordance with a comprehensive plan for the
purpose Iof promoting the general welfare of the City of Denton, Texas,
and with reasonable consideration, among other things for the character
of the ~strict and for its peculiar suitability or particular uses,
and with a view to conserving the value of the buildings, protecting
human lives, and encouraging the most appropriate uses of land for the
maximum,benefit to the City of Denton, Texas, and its citizens

That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immedi-
ately a~ter its passage and approval, the required public hearings
havinm heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning Commission
and t~elCity Council of the iCity of Denton, Texas, after giving due
notice =hereof
