That the Zoning ~p of the City of Denton, Texas, adopted January 14,
1969, as an Appendix to th~ Code of Ordmnances of the C~ty of Denton,
Texas, ~d~r provisions o~ Ordinanc~ 69-1, be, and the same ms hereby
~ended as follow~
All the hereinafter described pzoperty ~s hereby removed from the "A"
Agricultural District as sho~ on sa~d Zoning Map, and all provisions
of Ordinance No 69-1, adopted the 14~h day of lan~ry, 1969, as amended,
shall hereafter apply to sa~d property as "C" Co~erc~al D~str~ct in the
same manner as othem property located in the "C" Co~ercial D~str~ct,
Ail that c~rtain lot, tract or parcel of land lying and b~ing situated
in the C~ty and Cowry of Denton, State of Texas, and being Lot No 10,
City Block No 187-~ and b~ing further described as bemng located on the
north szde of Highway 380 east, and be~nF approximately 3 acres
SECTION II
~at the City Co.oil of the City of Denton, Te~s, hereby fznds that
such change is in accor~nce with a comprehenszve plan for the purpose
of promotzng the general welfare of the Czty of Denton, Texas, and wzth
reasonable consideratzon, among other thzngs for the character of the
dzstrzct and for its peculiar suztabilzty or partzcular uses, and with
a vzew to conse~ing the value of the buzldzngs, protectzng h~an lzves,
and encouragzng the most approprzate uses of land for the maxim~ bene-
fit to the City of ~nton, Texas and its cttzzens
SECTION III
That thzs ordinance shall be in full force and effect z~ediately after
its passage and approval, the required public hearzngs having heretofore
been held by the Plannzng and Zoning Co~zsszon and the Czty Co~czl of
the Czty of Denton, Texas, after gzving due notzce thereof
