SAME WAS A~OPTED AS AN APPENDIX TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY
OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 69-1, AND AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO
LOT NO 1, CITY BLOCK NO 135-D, AS SHOWN THIS DATE ON THE OFFICIAL
TAX MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
THEREIN, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, adopted January 14,
1969, as an Appendix to the Code of Ordinances of the C~ty of Denton,
Texas, under provlslons of ordinance 69-1, be, and the same is hereby
amended as follows
All the hereinafter described property is hereby removed from the "A"
Agricultural Dlstr~ct as shown on sa~d Zoning Map, and all provisions
of Ordlnance No 69-1, adopted the 14th day of January, 1969, as
amended, shall hereafter apply to said property as "SF-10" Single Fam-
ily D~str~¢t ~n the same manner as other propertv located ~n the "SF-
10" Single Family District,
All that certaln lot, tract or parcel of land ly~n~ and be~nq situated
in the C~ty and County of Denton, State of Texas, and being Lot No 1,
City Block No 135-D, and being further described as being located
north of Hercules Lane and east of North Locust Street and be~n~ 12
acres of land out of an 60 318 acre tract
SECTION II
That the Clty Co%Lncll of the City of Denton, Texas, hereby finds that
such change ls in accordance with a comprehenslve plan for the purpose
of promoting the general welfare of the C~ty of Denton, Texas, and with
reasonable consideration, among other th~ngs for the character of the
d~str~ct and for its peculiar suitability or particular uses, and with
a view to conserving the value of the buildings, protecting human l~ves,
and encouraging the most appropriate uses of land for the maximum bene-
fat to the City of Denton, Texas and its c~t~zens
SECTION III
That th~s ordinance shall be in full force and effect ~mmed~ately after
· ts passage and approval, the required public hearings having heretofore
been held by the Planning and Zoning Commission and the C~ty Council of
the City of Denton, Texas, after giving due not~ce thereof
