LOT 7, B~OCK 176"V, AS SHOWN TttIS DATE ON THE OFFICIAL TAX MAP OF THE
CITY OF ~ENTON, TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED THEREIN, AND
DECLARIN~ AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, adopted January 14,
1969, as an Appendix to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton,
Texas, under provaslons of Ordanance 69-1, be, and the same as hereby
amended as follows
All the hereinafter descrabed property is herebv removed from the "SF-7"
Single Familv Dastrict as shown on said Zoning Map, and all provaslons
of Ordinance No 69-1, adopted the 14th day of Januarv, 1969, as amended,
shall hereafter apply to said property as "CR" Ceneral Retaal Dastract
in the same manner as other property located in the "CR" General Retail
District,
All that certaan lot, tract or parcel of land lvlng and being satuated
in the City and County of Denton, State of Texas, and being Lot 7, Block
176-V and as further described as being located in the southwest corner
of the lntersectaon of East Un~versaty Drave and Mockangblrd Lane Pro-
perty being approximately three and one-half acres
SECTION II
That the City Councal of the Caty of Denton, Texas, hereby f~nds that
such change as in accordance wath a comprehensive plan for the purpose
of promotang the general welfare of the City of Denton, Texas, and with
reasonabl~e consaderataon, among other thangs for the character of the
dlstrlct ,and for ars peculiar sultabilaty or particular uses, and wath
a v~ew to conservang the value of the bu~ldangs, protecting human lives,
and encouraging the most appropriate uses of land for the maximum bene
fit to the C~ty of Denton, Texas and its citizens
SECTION III
That this, ordanance shall be an full force and effect ~mmed~ately after
· ts passage and approval, the required public hearangs having heretofore
been held by the Plannang and Zonang Commlssaon and the Caty Councal of
the City of Denton, Texas, after glvang due not~ce thereof
