1972-044 NO AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS AN APPENDIX TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON~ TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 69-1, AND AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO LOTS 12 AND 13 OF BLOCK NO 108, AS SHOWN THIS DATE ON THE OFFICIAL TAX MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED THEREIN, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS SECTION I That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, adopted January 14, 1969, as an Appendix to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton, Texas, under provisions of Ordinance 69-1, be, and the same is hereby amended as follows Ail the hereinafter described property is hereby removed from the "MF-i" Multi-Family District as shown on said Zoning Map, and all provisions of Ordinance No 69-1, adopted the 14th day of January, 1969, as amended, shall hereafter apply to said property as "0" Office District in the same manner as other property located in the "0" Office District, Ail that certain lot, tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the City and County of Denton, State of Texas, and being Lots No 12 and 13 of City Block No 1~8 and being further described as being located in the northeast quadrant of North Locust Street and Hann Street SECTION II That the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, hereby finds that such change is in accordance with a comprehensive plan for the purpose of promoting the general welfare of the City of Denton, Texas, and with reasonable consideration, among other things for the character of the district and for its peculiar suitability or particular uses, and with a view to conserving the value of the buildings, protecting human lives, and encouraging the most appropriate uses of land for the maximum bene- fit to the City of Denton, Texas and its citizens SECTION III That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately after its passage and approval, the required public hearings having heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, after giving due notice thereof PASSED AND APPROVED this the 10th day of October, A D 1972 BILL NEU, MAYOR CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS ATTEST APPROVED AS TO LEGAL FORM W fR~tLP-H M~, CISY ATTORNEY CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS AN APPENDIX TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 69-1, AND AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO LOT NOS 13 AND 14, CITY BLOCK NO 4027, AS SHOWN THIS DATE ON THE OFFICIAL TAX MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED THEREIN, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS SECTION I That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, adopted January 14, 1969, as an Appendix to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton, Texas, under provisions of Ordinance 69-1, be, and the same ~s hereby amended as follows All the hereinafter described property is hereby removed from the "MF-i" Multi-Family Dlstrlct as shown on sa~d Zoning Map, and all pro- visions of Ordinance No 69-1, adopted the 14th day of January, 1969, as amended, shall hereafter apply to sa~d property as "O" Office Dis- trict zn the same manner as other property located in the "0" Office District, All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land lying and being situated an the City and County of Denton, State of Texas, and being Lot Nos 13 and 14, City Block 4027, and being further described as being lo- cated on the north side of West Oak Street, lust west of Bonnie Brae Street SECTION II That the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, hereby finds that such change ls in accordance with a comprehensive plan for the purpose of promoting the general welfare of the City of Denton, Texas, and with reasonable consideration, among other things for the character of the district and for its peculiar suitability or particular uses, and with a view to conserving the value of the buildings, protecting human lives, and encouraging the most appropriate uses of land for the maximum bene- fit to the City of Denton, Texas and its citizens SECTION III That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately after its passage and approval, the required public hearings having heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning Commission and the C~ty Council of the City of Denton, Texas, after giving due notice thereof PASSED AND APPROVED this the 26th day of September, A D 1972 BILL NEU, MAYOR CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS APPROVED AS TO LEGAL FORM W ~'RALPH UN, CITY ATTORNEY CITy OF DENTON, TEXAS
