SAME WAS ADOPTED AS AN APPENDIX TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY
OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 69-1, AND AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO
LOT 7, BLOCK 274, AS SHOWN THIS DATE ON THE OFFICIAL TAX MAP OF THE
CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED THEREIN, AND
DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, adopted January
14, 1969, as an Appendlx to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton,
Texas, under provisions of 0rd~nance 69-1, be, and the same is hereby
amended as follows
Ail the hereinafter descrlbed property ~s hereby removed from the
"SF-7" S~ngle Family Dlstr~ct as shown on said Zoning Map, and all pro-
visions of Ordinance No 69-1, adopted the 14th day of January, 1969, as
amended, shall hereafter apply to sald property as "A" Agricultural Dis-
trict in the same manner as other property located in the "A" Agricul-
tural Dlstrlct,
All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land lying and being
s~tuated an the Clty and County of Denton, State of Texas, and
being Lot 7, Block 274 and belng further described as being
located at 617 Newton Street
SECTION II
That the Clty Council of the City of Denton, Texas, hereby f~nds
that such change ~s ~n accordance wlth a comprehensive plan for the pur-
pose of promoting the general welfare of the City of Denton, Texas, and
w~th reasonable consideration, among other th~ngs for the character of
the district and for lts peculiar sultablllty or particular uses, and
with a v~ew to conservlng the value of the buildings, protecting human
lives, and encouraging the most appropriate uses of land for the maxi-
mum benefit to the Clty of Denton and its citizens
SECTION III
That th~s ordinance shall be ~n full force and effect immediately
after its passage and approval, the required public hearings having
heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning Commission and the C~ty
Council of the C~ty of Denton, Texas, after giving due notice thereof
PASSED and APPROVED th~s the llth day of April, A D 1972
