1972-005 ORDINANCE NO 72- ~ ORDINANCE CANVASSING ELECTION RETUrnS THE STATE OP TEXAS Co~TY OF ,DENTON CITY OF D~NTON WHEREAS, the City Council of saad City duly ordered an elect~on to be held in sald Clty on the 25th day of January, 1972, on the PROPOSITIONS hereanafter stated, and WHEREAS, saad City Council has ~nvestagated all matters pertaanlng to saad election, lncludang the ordering, gavang notice, offacers, holding, and making returns of sa~d election, and WHEREAS, the electlon officers who held saad electaon have duly made the returns of the result thereof, and saad re- turns have been duly delivered to sa~d City Councal, and THE cOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS 1 That the Caty Councll offaclally fands and deter- manes that said electaon was duly ordered, that proper notice of sa~d elegt~on was duly given, that proper elect~on officers were duly appointed prior to said election, that sa~d electaon was duly held, that due returns of the result of saad electlon have Meeting, that the above and foregoing paragraph is a true, full, and correct excerpt from sa~d City Council's m~nutes of sa~d Meeting pertaln~ng to the passage of sa~d Ordi- nance, that the persons
