AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AS
SAME WAS ADOPTED AS AN APPENDIX TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY
OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 69-1, AND AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO
CITY LOTS 3 AND 4 OF CITY BLOCK 355, AS SHOWN THIS DATE ON THE OFFI-
CIAL TAX MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DES-
CRIBED THEREIN, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, adopted January
14, 1969, as an Appendix to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton,
Texas, under provisions of Ordinance 69-1, be, and the same is hereby
amended as follows
Ail the hereinafter described property is hereby removed from the
"SF-7" Sl~gle Family District as shown on said Zoning Map, and all pro-
visions of Ordinance No 69-1, adopted the 14th day of January, 1969, as
amended, shall hereafter apply to said property as "MF-i" Multi-family
District in the same manner as other property located in the "MF-i" Multi-
family District,
Ail that certain lot, tract or parcel of land lying and being
situated in the City and County of Denton, State of Texas, and
beling City Lots 3 and 4 of City Block 355, as shown on the the
oflficlal tax map of the City of Denton, Texas and also known as
11'09 Eagle Drive, being located at the intersection of Welch and
Eagle Drive in the southwest corner, with the dimensions of 155'
by 215'
SECTION II
That the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, hereby finds
that such Ohange ls in accordance with a comprehensIve plan for the pur-
pose of promoting the general welfare of the City of Denton, Texas, and
with reasonable consideration, among other things for the character of
the dlstrzct and for its peculiar suztabillty or particular uses, and
with a vzeW to conserving the value of the buildings, protecting human
lzves, and encouragIng the most appropriate uses of land for the maxi-
mum benefzt to the City of Denton and its citizens
SECTION III
That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately
after its passage and approval, the required public hearings having here-
tofore been held by the Plannzng and Zoning Commission and the City
Council of the City of Denton, Texas, after giving due notice thereof
PASSED and APPROVED this the llth day of January, A D 1972
