TEXAS, 1961, AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS A PART OF PARTS II AND
III OF CHAPTER 13 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 61-19, AND AS SAME MAP AP-
PLIES TO CERTAIN PROPERTY KNOWN AS CITY LOT 11, BLOCK 377B
AS SHOWN ON THE OFFICIAL CITY MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON,
TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND DECLAR-
ING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, 1961,
adopted as a Part of Parts II and III of Chapter 13, of the
Code of Ordinances of the C~ty of Denton, Texas, under pro-
v~slons of Ordinance No 61-19, be, and the same is hereby
amended as follows
All the hereinafter described property is hereby re-
moved from the '~R" Dwelling Dlstrlct as shown on
said map, and all provisions of Parts II and III of
Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordinances of the C~ty of
Denton, Texas, as prowded by Ordinance No 61-19,
shall hereafter apply to sa~d property as "LB"
Local Bus~ness Dlstr~ct ~n the same manner as other
property located in the"LB" - Local Business Dlstr~ct,
All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land situated
~n the C~ty and County of Denton, State of Texas,
known as C~ty Lot 11 of Block 377B located at the south-
west Intersection of McCormick, IH 35E, and Greenlee
Street
SECTION II
That the C~ty Council of the C~ty of Denton, Texas, here-
by fl,nds that such change ~s in accordance w~th a comprehensive
plan for the purpose of promoting the general welfare of the
C~ty of Denton, Texas, and w~th reasonable consideration,
among other things, for the character of the dlstrlct and for
its peculiar suitability or particular uses, and with a v~ew
to conserwng the value of the buildings, protecting human
lives and encouraging the most appropriate uses of land for the
maxlmlum benefit to the C~ty of Denton, Texas, and its c~t~zens
SECTION III
That th~s ordinance shall be in full force and effect im-
mediately after its passage and approval, the required public
hearings having heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning
Commission and the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas
after g~v~ng due notice thereof
