SECTION I
That the Cz~ Counczl officially flnds and determznes
than an election was duly ordered to be held zn the Czty of
Dent~n on the 2nd day of ~r~l, 1968, for the purpose of
electing two (2) me.ers to sa~d Council, that proper not.ce
of sazd electzon was duly ~ven, that proper electzon offzcers
were duly appoznted prior to sa~d electzon, that sald electzon
was duly held, that due returns of the result of sa~d elect~on
have been made and delzvered, and that the Czty Council has
duly canvassed sa~d returns, all ~n accordance w~th law
SECTION II
That the City Council off~czally f~nds and determlnes
that only reszdent, qualzf~ed electors of sa~d Czty were allow-
ed to vote at sa~d elect~on~ and the followzng votes were cast
at sa~d electzon for each candldate and write-in, there being
no other person recezvzng any votes at thzs electzon

L A Nelson 3244 votes
Alexander M F1nlay, Jr 3242 votes
R~chard 0 Stewart 2373 votes

That the C~ty Council officially f~nds~ determznes and
declares the results of sazd elect~on to be that L A Nelson
and Alexander M F~nlay~ Jr , have each received the proper
nu~er of votes to be elected, and that each of them zs elect-
ed to sa~d C~ty Council in accordance w~th law
