1970-050AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS,
1969, AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS AN APPENDIX TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 69-1, AND AS SAID
MAP APPLIES TO CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE MEADOW OAKS ADDITION TO
THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED THEREIN,
AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
TEE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, adopted
January 14, 1969, as an Appendix to the Code of Ordinances of the
C~ty of Denton, Texas, under the provisions of Ordinance No 69-01
be, and the same is hereby amended as follows
Ail the hereinafter described property is hereby re-
moved from the "SF-7" Single Family D~strlct as shown on
sa~d Zoning Map, and all provisions of Ordinance No
69-01, adopted the 14th day of January, 1969, as amended,
shall herenafter apply to said property as "SF-5" S~ngle
Family D~str~ct in the same manner as other property
located in the "SF-5" Dlstr~ct, to wit
All that certain lot, tract, or parcel of land lying
and being s~tuated in the City and County of Denton,

Addition to the City of Denton, Texas, recorded ~n

SECTION II
That the Clty Councll of the City of Denton, Texas, hereby
flnds that such change is in accordance w~th a comprehensive
plan for the purposes of promoting the general welfare of the
City of Denton, Texas, and with reasonable consideration, among
other th~ngs, for the character of the dzstrlct and for its
peculiar suitability or particular uses, and wzth a view to con-
servlng the value of the buildings, protecting human l~ves, and
encouraging the most appropriate uses of land for the maximum
benefit to the Czty of Denton and ~ts cltlzens
SECTION III
That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
medzately after ~ts passage and approval, the required public
hearings havzng heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning
Commission and the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas,
after giving due notice thereof
