1970-043 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON,
TEXAS, 1969, AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS AN APPENDIX TO THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS BY ORDINANCE NO
69-1, AND AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO CERTAIN PROPERTY KNOWN AS
CITY LOT 7, BLOCK 136-4 AS SHOWN ON THE OFFICIAL TAX MAP OF
THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DEgCRIBED
HEREIN¥ AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, adopted
January 14, 1969, as an Appendix to the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Denton, Texas, under provisions of Ordinance No
69-1, be, and the same is hereby amended as follows
All the hereinafter described property is hereby re-
moved from the Agricultural Dlstr~ct as shown on sa~d
Zoning Map, and all provisions of Ordinance No 69-1
adopted the 14th day of January, 1969, as amended,
shall hereafter apply to said property as "SF-7"
Single Family D~strict in the same manner as other
property located in the "SF-7" Single Family D~str~ct,
All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land lying
and being situated ~n the C~t¥ and County of Denton,
State of Texas, known as City Lot 7, Block 136-4
as shown th~s date on the Tax Map of the City of
Denton, Texas, being located south of Hercules and
west of Stuart Road and being a 15 acre vacant
tract
S$CTION II
That the Czty Counczl of the C~ty of Denton, Texas, here-
by finds that such change ~s ~n accordance w~th a comprehensive
plan for the purposes of promoting the general welfare of the
City of Denton, Texas, and with reasonable consideration, among
other th~ngs, for the character of the d~strlct and for ~ts
peculiar suitability or particular uses, and w~th a v~ew to con-
serving the value of the buildings, protecting human lives, and
encouraging the most appropriate uses of land for the maximum
benefit to the C~ty of Denton and ~ts c~t~zens
SECTION III
That th~s ordinance shall be in full force and effect im-
mediately after its passage and approval, the required public
hearings having heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning
Commission and the City Council of the C~ty of Denton, Texas,
after giving due notice thereof

Bualdzng to consider the request of Mr Walt Parker that tJ~e zoning
classification of City Lot 7, Block 136-4 be changed from the
Agricultural classification to the "SF-7" Single fanuly classzflcatzon
The property is further descmbed as being a vacant 1S acre tract
of land located sout]~ of Hercules and west of Stuart Road
