/~ ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ¥~P OF THE CITY OF DENTON,
TEXAS, 1969, AS S,/~v~ WAS ADOPTED AS AN APPENDIX TO THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS BY ORDINANCE NO
69-1, AND AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO CERTAIN PROPERTY KNOWN AS
CITY LOTS 1, 2, 2 1 AND 4 OF CITY BLOCK 171-D AS SHOWN ON
THE OFFICIAL TAX MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND MORE
PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That the Zonang Map of the Caty of Denton, Texas, adopted
January 14, 1969, as an Appendlx to the Code of Ordanances of
the Caty of Denton, Texas, under provaslons of Ordinance No
69-1, be, and the same is hereby amended as follows
All the hereinafter described property as hereby re-
moved from the "SF-7" Sangle Famaly Dastrlct as shown
on saad Zonang Map, and all prov~saons of Ordinance No
69-1 adopted the 14th day of January, 1969, as amended,
shall hereafter apply to said property as "SF-5" Single
Famaly Dlstrlct an the same manner as other property
located an the "SF-5" Sangle Family D~str~ct,
All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land lying
and beang situated an the Caty and County of Denton,
State of Texas, known as City LOts 1, 2, 2 1 and 4
of Caty Block 171-D as shown thas date on the Tax
Map of the Cat¥ of Denton, Texas, being located on
the east side of Rose Street extendang north from
Paasley to the M K T & P Raalroad Tracks
SECTION II
That the Caty Councal of the C~ty of Denton, Texas, here-
by fands that such change ~s an accordance wath a comprehensive
plan for the purposes of promotang the general welfare of the
Caty of Denton, Texas, and wath reasonable conslderataon, among
other thangs, for the character of the dastract and for ~ts
peculaar sultabalaty or particular uses, and w~th a view to con-
servang the value of the buald~ngs, protectang human lives, and
encouraging the most approprlate uses of land for the maximum
benefit to the C~ty of Denton and ~ts c~t~zens
SECTION III
That th~s ordinance shall be in full force and effect im-
mediately after lts passage and approval, the requlred public
hearings having heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning
Commlssion and the Clty Co%mcll of the City of Denton, Texas,
after givlng due not~ce thereof
