AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON,
TEXAS, 1969, AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS AN APPENDIX TO THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS BY ORDINANCE NO
69-1, AND AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO CERTAIN PROPERTY KNOWN AS
CITY LOTS 1 £, 2 AND 2 1, BLOCK 275 AS SHOWN ON THE OFFICIAL
TAX MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED HFREIN, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, adopted
January 14, 1969, as an Appendix to the Code of Ordinances of
the C~ty of Denton, Texas, under provisions of Ordinance No
69-1, be, and the same is hereby amended as follows
All the hereinafter described property is hereby re-
moved from the "SF-7" S~ngle Family D~strlct as shown
on said Zoning Map, and all provisions of Ordinance No
69-1 adopted the 14th day of January, 1969, as amended,
shall hereafter apply to sa~d property as "SF-5" Single
Family Dlstr~ct ~n the same manner as other property
located in the "SF-5" Single Family D~strlct,
Ail that certain lot, tract or parcel of land lying
and being situated in the City and County of Denton,
State of Texas, known as City Lots 1 1, 2 and 2 1,
Block 275 as shown thls date on the Tax Map of the
City of Denton, Texas, being located at the north-
east corner of Newton and Morse Streets
S CTION II
That the Clty Council of the C~ty of Denton, Texas, here-
by f~nds that such change is in accordance w~th a comprehensive
plan for the purposes of promoting the general welfare of the
C~ty of Denton, Texas, and with reasonable consideration, among
other things, for the character of the d~str~ct and for ~ts
peculiar suitability or particular uses, and with a view to con-
serving the value of the buildings, protecting human l~ves, and
encouraging the most appropriate uses of land for the maxlmum
benefit to the City of Denton and its c~tlzens
SECTION III
That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
mediately after its passage and approval, the required publlc
hearings having heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning
Commission and the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas,
after giving due notice thereof
