AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS,
DELETING THE MAXIMUM FEE FOR ELECTRICAL WORK PERMITS, PROVID-
ING FOR SEPARATE PERMITS FOR EACH SEPARATE UNIT, PROVIDING AN
EXCEPTION, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
PART ONE
That Chapter Nine, Article IV, Section 9-47, of the Code of
the C~ty of Denton ~s hereby amended by deleting the following
three l~nes from Section 9-47 1nclud~ng the catchllne
MAXIMUM AND MINIMUM FEES
Minimum fee for any one permit $ 1 25
Maximum fee for any one permit $50 00
and substmtutlng therefore the following two paragraphs
MINIMUM FEE
Minimum fee for any one permit $ 1 25
SEPARATE PERMITS
A separate permit shall be required for each separate
bumld~ng, store space, or apartment, whether such unit
· s metered separately or conjunctively, and a service
permit shall be taken on all such units whether suppl~-
ed from a central meterlnq station or d~rectly from an
electricity supply agency, except that in trailer courts,
the lndlvldual traller disconnect sw~tches shall not be
deemed services
PART TWO
That thms ordinance shall be effective immediately upon ~ts
passage and approval
