Agenda Committee Meeting of the City of Denton City Council on January 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.
in the City Manager's Conference Room at City Hall.
Present: Mayor Watts;Mayor Pro Tem Roden;Interim City Manager Martin;Assistant City
Managers Fortune, Cabrales and Langley; and Assistant City Secretary Richardson
1. The Committee reviewed the upcoming city council agenda for January 24, 2017.
The item on the agenda for the Denton Housing Authority was moved to February 7ffi to allow
staff additional time to gather the information requested. The Committee discussed the Cole Ranch
presentation and agreed to allow the developer 15 minutes for a presentation. Mayor Pro Tem
Roden requested a Closed Meeting item on the City Auditor position and also an action item in
case Council wanted to take any action.
2. The Committee reviewed the Future City Council Items matrix.
The Committee discussed putting an item on the February meeting regarding the announcement
of an Interim City Attorney. Mayor Watts asked for additional documentation on the settlement
statement, deed and contract on the TMPA line relocation.
With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 2:32 p.m.
