AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ~ONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
DENTON, TEXAS, REQUIRING SPECIFIC USE PERMITS FOR CONSTRUCTION
AND OPERATION OF TRAILER CAMPS OR MOBILE HOME PARKS WITHIN DE-
SIGNA?ED USE DISTRICTS, OHAN~IN~ CERTAIN DEFINITIONS REGARDING
MOBILE HOMES AND MOBILE HOME PARKS, PROVIDING FOR PENALITIES
FOR VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE

THE cOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That Article ?, Subsection B, Line (9) of Ordinance No
69-01, being the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Denton is
hereby amended and supplanted by deleting said Subsection Bp
Line (9) and substituting therefor the following Subsection B
which shall hereafter read as follows
SECTION II
That Article 12, Subsection A, Paragraphs (8) (Trailer
or Mobile Home as Fixed Dwelling), and Paragraph (9) (Trailer
Camp or Mobile Home Park), of Ordinance No 69-01, same being
the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Denton, is hereby amended
and supplanted by deleting said paragraphs and substituting
therefor the following paragraph which shall hereafter read as
follows
(8) Trailer, Mobile Home or Modular House as a Fixed
Dwelling
A dwelling or components thereof designed to be
transported on the highway, which is placed on a
permanent foundation or with the wheels, tongue,
and running gear removed, and which conforms to the
City of Denton Building, Fire, Plumbing and Electri-
cal Codes for single family structures
(9) Trailer Camp or Mobile Home Park
A tract of land designed or being used to accommo-
date one or more transient portable dwelling units
originally designed to be moved on wheels from loca-
tion to location by automobile, truck, similar prime
mover or self pro-pelled units
SECTION III
That the Penalty provision contained in Article 29 of said
Zoning Ordinance is incorporated herein and made applicable
hereto
SECTION IV
That this ordinance shall become effective fourteen (14)
days from the date of its passage, and the City Secretary is
hereby directed to cause the caption of this ordinance to be
published twice in the Denton Record-Chronicle within ten (10)
days of the date of its passage
