1970-009 AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING NEW ELECTION JUDGE FOR REGULAR CITY
ELECTION ON APRIL 7, 1970, TO FILL VACANCY
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
That, because of the reslgnatlon of Jewel Smith as
presiding judge of the election to be held on the 7th day
of April, 1970, as provided ~n Ordinance No 70-6, hereto-
fore passed on the 24th day of February, 1970, a vacancy
exists which must be f~lled, THEREFORE, Section IV of sa~d
Ordinance No 70-6 ~s hereby amended by appointing Dr
J L Carr~co presiding judge of sa~d elect~on, who shall
appoint such assistants as may be necessary to properly
conduct said elect~on, as provided ~n the Elect~on Code
