AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON,
TEXAS, 1969, AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS A PART OF PARTS II AND
III OF CHAPTER 13 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 6J-l, AND AS SAME MAP APPLIES
TO CERTAIN PROPERTY KNOWN AS CITY LOTS 24-26 OF CITY BLOCK
413 AS SHOWN ON THE OFFICIAL CITY MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON,
TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND DECLARING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That the ZoD1Dg Map of the City of Denton, Texas, 1969,
adopted as a Part of Parts II and III of Chapter 13, of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton, Texas, under pro-
VlSlOnS of Ordinance No 69-1, be, and the same is hereby
amended as follows
All therhere~nafter described property ~s hereby
removed from the SF-7 Dlstnct a~ shown on sa~d
Map, and all provisions of Parts II and III of
Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordinances of the C~ty
of Denton, Texas, as provided by Ordinance No
69-1, shall hereafter apply to sa~d property as
MF-1 ~n the same manner as other property located
in the MF-1 D~strict,
All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land
situated in the City and County of Denton, Texas,
known as C~ty Lots 24-26 of C~ty Block 413 and
known as the northeast corner of Henry and North
Elm Street
SECTION II
That the C~ty Council of the C~ty of Denton, Texas, here-
by finds that such change is lnaaccordance with a comprehensive
plan for the purpose of promoting the general welfare of the
C~ty of Denton, Texas, and w~th reasonable consideration, among
other th~ngs, for the character of the d~str~ct and for its
peculllar suitability or particular uses, and with a v~ew to con-
serwlng the value of the buildings, protecting human l~ves, and
encouraging the most appropriate uses of land for the maximum
benefit to the C~ty of Denton and ~ts c~tlzens
SECTION III
That th~s ordinance shall be ~n full force and effect
~mmediately after ~ts passage and approval, the required
public hearings hawng heretofore been held by the Planning
and Zoning Commission and the C~ty Council of the City of
Denton, Texas, after glvlng due not~ce thereof
