THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS

Notice of Sale of Bonds zn substantially the following form
"OFFICIAL NOTICE OF SALE
CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS
$1,285,000
GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS,
SERIES 1969
$1,060,000
WATER AND SEWER SYSTEM REVENUE BONDS,
SERIES 1969
The City Council of the City of Denton, Denton County, Texas,
will receive sealed bids at thc Municipal Building ~n the
City of Denton until
1:30 PoM., CST, Tuesday,April 15, 1969,
for the purchase of
~1~285,000 General Obligation Bonds, to be dated April 15,
1969, and to mature serially April 15 each year 1970
through 1989o
~1,060~000 Water and Sewer System Revenue Bonds, to be dated
April 15, 1969, and to mature serially on July 15 each
year 1970 through 1989o
Sealed bids, plainly marked "Bid for Bonds", should be
addressed to "Honorable Mayo~ and City Council, City of
Denton, Texas", and mt~st be submitted on the "Official Bid
Form" to be made available by the City Council prior to
the date of sale
Ail sealed bids will be publicly opened and tabulated be-
fore the Council
Copies of the "0ffzczal Statement" and "Official Bid Form"
are being prepared and will be mailed to prospective b~dde~s
on or about March 28, 1969, and will be furnished to any
prospective bidder upon request, by First Southwest Company,
927 Mercantile Bank Building, Dallas, Texas, 75201,

The City reserves the right to re0ect any and all bids
and to waive any and all irregularities

regularly and primarily carrying financial news and municipal
bond sale notices, and said Notice also shall be published once

shall be made at least thirty days prior to the day set for re-
ceiving bids

with ~t the passage of sa~d Ordinance, prevailed and carried by the

dinance passed at the Meeting described ~n the above and foregoing

said Meeting, that the above and foregoing paragraph ~s a true, full,
and correct excerpt from sa~d C~y Council's m~nutes of sa~d Meeting
pergaining to the passage of said Ordinance, that the persons named
zn the above and foregoing paragraph are the duly chosen, qualified,

therein, and that each of the officers and members of sa~d C~ty
